J, when we were discussing how boost works, you mentioned that someone without a mega attr that gets boosted into the mega range will get a free (temp) enhancement. i have some questions regarding this. do i pick the enhancement for the recipient? does it always have to be the same enhancement for that person? what if the recipient is a baseline? how does a baseline activate an enhancement without a quantum pool?

Well...

Yes, if you were to push another character into the mega attribute range, then he or she would get a free enhancement; albeit temporary. As far as boosting novas, then, no, you wouldn't pick their enhancement. As beings tapped into quantum energy, they would determine how that energy is used. After all, it is a reflection of his or her personality. Baselines are another matter. You can determine if the baseline you boost has an enhancement, and which, but you would pay the additional quantum (one time per boost) if it is required. Or, alternatively, since this power only affects a few attributes at most, you can select an enhancement that is permanently assigned to a baseline attribute boost. That would not require any additional quantum costs.
