I have two versions in my notes (well, 3 versions, but one is for PA only =P).
1) Arc Thrower - Rifle 60m 2 N 10D6 12 2 R BOD: 5 - Destroys electronics, Shuts down unprotected Cyberware, but all damage and effects can be negated through "grounded" armor.

This uses D6, meaning it is anti-personal. Pretty streamlined device with a bit of flare.

CP2020 Weapons Sci_fi_device_weapon_concept_by_peterku

2) Heavy Ion System - Rifle 400m 2 N 6D10 12 2 R BOD: 6

This uses D10 and is longer range. Although it is less efficient (Not really min/maxxed for DMG:BOD) it would mean that the D10s would upconvert to penetration when (if?) we go against tanks and armored vehicles.

Lastly, the BFG
2) Free Electron Pulse Cannon - Heavy Weapon 2400m 1 N 10D10 60* 20 R BOD: 20
*FEP Cannon feeds off the reserve batteries of the PA

You had both major surgery and extensive training since last session. You may start one. If you make your rolls, I will consider that weapon finished.

It will come with a 30% chance of disabling unprotected cyberware, not 100%. Clearly the raw damage will make up for that. Also, unless you make a fantastic roll, it's going to be ROF 1.

If it's not for your PA, we will start with your electronics roll. As this is your permanent device roll for the session, you may add your jury rig to either this roll or your subsequent basic tech or weaponsmith rolls.

Post your stat + skill, and use the d10 dice roller. Just 1.

For clarification. Since I am claiming my Permanent Roll as the higher of the two previous randomly generated numbers, I will not be applying my Jury Rig to the first, or next roll?

Also, is the ROF=1 a GM rule you are putting into place, or does the standard rule apply for exceeding the BOD requirement by 2 (allowing for an additional ROF).

I'm not sure what you just said there.

You were given two permanency rolls for the creation of this item: one for downtime, one for this upcoming session. You have Electronics, Basic Tech, and Weaponsmith rolls. You can add Jury Rig to two out of three of those for the creation of this item at this time. You've added it to your Electronics roll, but not your Basic Tech, so you have the option of using it for your Weaponsmith roll or save it for another project this session.

I am stating at this time that this weapon will not exceed ROF 1 based on the technology employed. This is not a standard projectile weapon and should not be subject to the same creation/combat rules. This is an exotic weapon based on some already limited technology.

Go ahead and make your Weaponsmith roll and I will tell you what your hard work has garnered you.

Could I drop the damage to 8D6? That would allow it to have a 3-16 ROF (Im assuming you would limit it to 3, which is fine.)

The blast that is emitted from your Ajax Brand Arc Thrower is powerful, but difficult to control. There for the accurate range is greatly reduced. However, it has a 30% chance of temporarily overloading any unprotected cyberware and rendering it useless for 1D3 rounds as it resets. Also, your contraption does a number on the central nervous system as well; forcing any ungrounded target to make moderate stun check at -2. This weapon isn't for the faint of heart. And, uh, don't botch.

Can I make further rolls to improve the accuracy?

I would like to invite Hernesto Valsquez, Lars Olov (if hes willing to fly out, or even teleconference in), and the asian man known as Lopez for a demonstration (doesnt have to be at the same time, if they prefer to not see each other), see if they can find a company that would be interested in the schematics.

Are there any rolls I need to make for my PA? The only mod I wanted to add was Extra Twist so they work with my new legs.

Would it be a good idea to higher a tech company to build my PA gun, or are there too many risks/fees?

Oh, and has there been any word on finding materials to finish my Heatless Flight system?
